Tornado of Change

Back in 1814, the Brits took a little trip.

The Red Coats occupied Washington D.C. and systematically set the city afire.

The government buildings stood in flames. The sky was so "brilliantly illuminated", that "a dark red light was thrown upon the road, sufficient to permit each man to view distinctly his comrade's face."

All seemed lost.

But the Brits got a bit of rain on their bloody parade.

What some refer to as Divine Intervention, a thunderstorm hit with hurricane-force, spawning a tornado that...

"...tore through the center of Washington and directly into the British occupation....A few British cannons were picked up by the winds and thrown through the air. The collapsing buildings and flying debris killed several British soldiers. Many of the soldiers did not have time to take cover from the winds and they laid face down in the streets. One account describes how a British officer on horseback did not dismount and the winds slammed both horse and rider violently to the ground."

The enemy were driven from the city.

For good.

Don't mess with Mother Nature.

These days, it's not the Brits, but the Bush administration that has systematically destroyed our government, not by fire but through trickery, fear and your basic criminal activity.

But the winds of change are shrieking.

Citizens all over this country have emerged from the basements of how much further can we sink to stand in squall lines of discontent, voting in historic numbers.

Today--on this Super Tuesday--the tornado called We, the People will F6 the polls in over twenty states to take our country back.

Hold onto your hats.
