Damn you, Tim Russert.
Not even I can snap my fingers and make 10,000 pages of my personal records as First Lady reappear before Tuesday's primaries.
These things take time. Procedures must be followed.
Archivists process the documents, which must be reviewed by My People before release to The People, my beloved patient American supporters who simply cannot expect my adviser Bruce Lindsey to drop everything to pick through, uh, review-review my documents in a mere 30 days.
And Bruce may need an extension, possibly 30 days before passing on to the White House. God knows what happens once my records get there, I'm not certain if those people can even read.
I want all Americans to review my 35 years of experience. Honestly, I do.
But Senator Clinton, what about releasing your tax return, filed jointly with hubby Bill by Tuesday, March 4?
The People want to know where that 5 million dollar loan-to-self came from.
"Well, I can't get it together by then, but I will certainly work to get it together. I'm a little busy right now; I hardly have time to sleep."
Not gonna happen.
