Thoughts on Ron Paul

Ever since I saw Ron Paul in "Freedom to Facism" by Aaron Russon, I have been a suopporter of Ron Paul. To say the least I was disappointed by the results of his presidential candidacy. I remain a supporter of Ron Paul and his message but have come to believe that it was not the message but the man. Meaning, I think Ron Paul lacked that "Warrior". Right message, wrong messenger. I'm curious as to what others may think? Also, if you have not had a chance to see the great Ron Paul animation by Nathan Evans, it is linked to this post.

I've pondered the Paul factor myself.

His support was refreshingly enthusiastic in my area. But I think the messenger may have been the wrong vehicle.

Sadly, if you put his message behind George Clooney's face and charisma, he might have stood a chance--what else could it be? Paul was a contender--he raised the money, he had feet on the street.

In many ways, our country is so superficial.
