commute his sentence originally? What did that do? I know Libby dropped his appeal recently, does this mean he's gonna see jail time now that Bush didn't pardon him?

bush commuted his sentence, meaning he doesn't have to serve time, but libby is still and always will be considered a felon and guilty of his crimes. had he given him a pardon, he would've basically had a blank slate.

it just would've been purely in name, but interesting that he didn't.
